Plan International began operating in Jordan in 2016 to address the biggest inequalities and violations of children’s rights. And in 2019 Plan International Jordan (PIJO) developed its first five-year Country Strategy which will guide the country office to program and position itself to:
Empower children, young people and communities;
Make vital changes that tackle the root causes of discrimination against girls, exclusion and vulnerability;
Drive change in practice and policy at local, national and global level through its reach, experience and knowledge of the realities children face;
Work with children and communities to prepare for and respond to crises and to overcome adversity; and
Support the safe and successful progression of children from birth to adulthood.
Purpose of the Animated Video
The purpose of this Animated video is to highlight the overall programmatic goals and work of Plan international Jordan. The video will aim to answer who we are, what we do, and where we operate. It will, in part, outline the work we do by spotlighting the five core themes outlined in the Plan International Jordan’s Country Office Strategy, which are: -
Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD)
Inclusive and Quality Education
Protection from Violence (CP and GBV)
SGBV and SRHR
Skills and Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship
Costs
The total costs for the production of video will be based on this TOR and scope of work. The proposed budget should include all eligible costs, including VAT, required to undertake the assignment after reviewing and approving the final product in soft copy.
Duration and Timeline
The contract will be for a month between September 15th to October 15th .
Expected outcomes
Working closely with PIJO in the creation of the videos, the contractor will provide:
A concept design
Timeline of the production with the flexible deadline calendar;
Script drafting and/or refining where relevant;
A storyboard and/or mood board;
An agreed round of two corrections/revisions at both the storyboard and animation stages, and agreed costs for any extra production work, including recording, mixing and editing (single quote per hour).
The final animation files will be shared as follows:
• All subtitles provided as .VTT and .SRT files;
• Landscape and square formats;
• Source files (without voiceover or subtitles);
